SoulCollage® in the North Woods of MN
August 26-28
October 7-9
Join us for a relaxing SoulCollage weekend retreat this fall at the lovely Spotted Eagle lake resort in Northern Minnesota near Grand Rapids. Explore your creativity and expand personally through SoulCollage while enjoying the colors and crisp air of autumn in the north woods. In addition to creating in community, there will be time for walking, napping and relaxing in the sauna.
We will explore creativity through meditation and connection to the North Woods. Basic techniques will be taught to people who have not yet experienced the SoulCollage® process.
These retreats will be held at the Spotted Eagle Lodge located on 7 acres of woods with a private lake near Grand Rapids, Minnesota. The lodge includes a main house with kitchen, 2 bathrooms and fireplace and there are also 4 sleeping cabins.
Retreat weekend $225 includes workshop, two-nights lodging and two breakfast meals. Saturday night dinner and lunch Saturday and Sunday are potluck. Kitchen facilities are available at the resort.
To reserve a place (limit of 10 people) please contact Joan Ungar at 612-782-9895 or jungar@pcspeed.com. Send a $65 deposit to Joan at: 2205 California St NE #203, Minneapolis, MN 55418.
Joan Ungar and Kathleen Grittner will co-facilitate this retreat weekend.
Introduction to SoulCollage®
November 5
SoulCollage® is simple, creative fun that anyone can do. Simple, yet a powerful way of listening to and trusting your intuition; your own inner teacher.
Using the art method of collage, we make “cards” that may surprise and awaken you! Images are the language of the soul and allow us to shift into the realm of imagination and intuition.
An overview and history of the SoulCollage® process will be provided as well as lots of images and time for making cards. You will also have the opportunity to experience "giving voice to your cards", the consultation process. We consult our own cards for self-exploration and understanding and to help answer life’s questions.
This event is perfect for beginners and for those who have begun their own SoulCollage journey. No artistic skill or experience is necessary!
Join us for a day of creative play, discovery and renewal. Joan Ungar and Kathleen Grittner will co-facilitate this workshop.
Investment: $65--Materials provided. Bring a lunch or dine at the Mill City Cafe in the building
The Committee Suit---December 3
Each card in the Committee Suit of your SoulCollage® deck embodies a part of yourself or a role you play in life. These cards are useful in honoring, balancing and integrating our many parts.
We will make cards focusing on this aspect of the SoulCollage process and learn more about this suit. As we identify and name the parts of our personality, they come to know and respect each other’s contribution to our whole Self’s well-being.
Joan Ungar and Kathleen Grittner will co-facilitate this workshop.
